This giant of Montréal's industrial heritage, designed for the sorting and storage of grains, was active from 1903 to 1994. Montréal was then the industrial center of canada.
Today it remains an architecturally unique place that recalls the extent of the industrialization and marketing of grain at the beginning of the 20th century. The silo # 5 gives a historic look to the panorama of the old port of Montreal.
